The files Otrera keeps on the pit. They don't know how far down it goes. They sent a couple drones, but after the bats destroyed them, they simply covered the whole thing up for everyone's safety. There is a recent update to the file that explains how the entire thing expanded, the tarp and some barriers fell in, and a giant bird escaped the pit and flew away. The top section of the pit now looks more like a funnel.
